What data I collect on this site and how to ask to see or delete it.
Contacts
When you message me on WhatsApp or by email, or call me, I use your name, contact details and what you tell me only to reply to your request and, if we go ahead, to do the work.
Demo conversations
Messages typed into the demo assistant (demo.dinisfragata.pt) are sent to OpenAI to generate the answers. The demo is for a fictional business: please don't enter personal data.
Visit statistics
To understand where visits come from, I log the pages viewed in each visit, its source (a UTM link or the referring site), language, screen size, browser and approximate country and city. I also log how long each page stays open, how far it is read, whether you click a contact or a link to another site, and how long the page takes to load. I don't use cookies and don't store anything on your device (except your light or dark theme choice, if you make one). To group the pages of one visit, the server works out a code from your IP address and browser, using a key that changes every day. The IP is only used at that moment, and to estimate country and city, and is not stored. The data is kept in a private Google spreadsheet. I also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits and page views in aggregate, without cookies and without storing your IP address.
Processors
Vercel (website hosting and visit statistics via Vercel Web Analytics), Google (visits spreadsheet, Google Sheets and Apps Script) and OpenAI (demo answers). They process the data only on my behalf, for the purposes described above.
Legal basis
I use contact details to reply to your request and, if we go ahead, to do the work (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Visit statistics rely on my legitimate interest in understanding how the site is found and used (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Retention period
Visit logs and demo conversations are deleted after 6 months. Contact messages are kept for as long as the conversation or the work lasts.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing dinis@dinisfragata.pt. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD, cnpd.pt).
